**About the Album:**
"Bunched Birth" is a highly regarded work by vocalist Yoshii, who has often compared it to their later album "SICKS." He described the sound of the tracks as pure and kaleidoscopic, unique to this recording. The jacket illustration, created by manga artist Terada Toru, was inspired by Yoshii's concept of the underground scene and served as a counterpoint to the bubble economy era, aiming for a dark aesthetic.

Initially pressed in limited quantities (around 1,000 copies), the first pressing included a lyric card with an error. The album went out of print and became a collector's item. A reissue was later released in 1996, achieving over 100,000 sales.

「Bunched Birth」는 일본의 록 밴드, THE YELLOW MONKEY의 인디즈 앨범. 
자체 레이블로 만들어진 자신의 첫 작품. 이를 기념해 전국 13개소를 순회하는 CD 발매 기념 투어를 실시했다.
요시이도 마음에 드는 작품이며 신보가 나올 때마다 이번 앨범과 비교해서 가장 많이 들었던 앨범은 6집 SICKS 과거의 Bunched Birth라고 했다. 또, 이 CD의 악곡을 깨끗한 만화경 같은 소리라고 비유하고 있으며, 이 소리를 이 CD 이외에는 만들 수 없다고도 말하고 있다.
재킷의 일러스트는, 요시이의 지인이기도 한 만화가 데라다 토오루에 의한 그려내기. 요시이 왈 「당시 언더 그라운드를 「지하」라고 하는 키워드로 이용하는 것이 많았기 때문에, 재킷은 지하의 망루 같은 것을 이미지 했다. 동시에 버블 시대에 대한 반전이기도 해서 다크한 느낌을 내세우고 싶었다.
첫회 생산반은 가사카드에 오식이 있다. 후에 단종되어, 옥션에서도 고액으로 거래가 이루어졌지만, 96년에 재발반이 발매되었다. 당시 매상고는 천 장이었고 재발매는 10만 장 이상의 매출을 올렸다.
