A representative example of biomimetic ceramics, this Jingdezhen celadon porcelain brush washer features intricate carved designs of a pond, mandarin ducks, and lotus motifs. The vessel itself is shaped like a lotus leaf, with a wavy rim and delicate vein patterns carved into the interior, mimicking the texture of a lotus leaf. The exterior is adorned with lotus seed pods and stems, featuring realistic dotted details. The high base is elaborately carved with lotus flowers and leaves, nestled amongst which are two mandarin ducks, creating a serene scene of ducks resting by a lotus pond. This motif symbolizes 'continuous success in official careers'.

The glaze is a warm, lustrous ivory white with a slight yellowish tint. The thin glaze layer reveals the texture of the clay body. The base shows the unglazed rim, revealing a light yellowish-brown clay with clear signs of the firing process. There is a minor glaze imperfection, but this is considered a unique and rare piece.

기물은 연잎·꽃 입구 형태의 문방수세에 속하며, 장식용 접시로도 사용할 수 있는 생체모사자기의 대표적인 기형입니다.
그릇 몸체는 말린 연잎 형태로 빚어졌고, 입술 가장자리는 물결무늬의 화구를 이루며, 그릇 안에는 촘촘한 잎맥 무늬가 새겨져 있어 선이 부드럽고 유려하며 연잎의 질감을 본뜬 것입니다. 외벽 양쪽에는 연꽃 씨방과 연밥 줄기를 붙이고, 연밥 줄기에는 점状의 뚫림을 넣어 디테일이 사실적이고 생동감 있게 표현되어 있습니다. 높은 받침대 전체에는 연꽃과 연잎을 입체 조각하였고, 받침의 중심에는 원앙새 두마리(물새)를 연못가의 연꽃숲 사이에 숨겨 두어 원앙새 연못가의 연못에 앉아 있는 모습을 이루게 하였으며, 주제는 연못가에 원앙새 앉아 있는 모습(一路连科)입니다.
백유는 온화하고 윤기 있는 상아백색의 약간 미색조이며, 유층이 얇아 태질의 질감이 보입니다. 바닥의 다리는 태가 드러나 있고, 태토는 옅은 황토색이며, 선구 흔적이 선명합니다. 아쉽게도 유가 있어요.둘도 없는 기물로 봅니다.
