A rare and authentic Joseon Dynasty Cheongsong white porcelain cup stand (*Janjangdae*) set. This piece features a delicate and refined aesthetic, reminiscent of a snowy landscape, embodying the natural elegance of Cheongsong porcelain. The distinctive milky-white glaze is a hallmark of Cheongsong ware, crafted from ground 'stone porcelain' (*doseok*) rather than clay, resulting in thinner and lighter ceramics compared to white porcelain from other regions.

Cheongsong white porcelain was a representative everyday ceramic of the late Joseon Dynasty, with a history spanning over 500 years from the 16th to mid-20th century. It is recognized as one of the four major regional kilns of the Joseon Dynasty, alongside Haesoo white porcelain, Heeryeong pottery, and Yangu white porcelain. It flourished alongside Mungyeong celadon in the Gyeongsang region.
