This vessel is a 'crushed cup,' intentionally deformed by the whims of the fire during firing. This unique shape creates a natural resting place for the lips when drinking, making it suitable for practical use and embodying an unforced, Wabi-sabi aesthetic.
Despite its stoneware body, the clay is soft, and over centuries of practical use and natural aging, it has acquired a profound sense of antiquity.
Notably, traces of kiln smoke brushing the interior and exterior remain, enhancing its scenic quality and allowing for a vivid sense of the firing process. The cup also bears marks from surviving kiln wars during its firing.

이 기물은 찌글이잔으로, 소성 당시 불의 장난으로 인해 의도치 않게 찌그러진 형태입니다
이러한 형태는 차를 마실 때 자연스럽게 입술이 닿는 지점을 만들어 주어 실사용에 적합하며, 인위적이지 않은 와비사비적 미감을 잘 보여줍니다
견수 유약이지만 태토는 연질태토로서 수 백여 년이 넘는 세월 동안 실사용의 흔적과 자연스러운 태착으로 고태미가 더해졌습니다
특히 내·외면에는 가마연이 스치듯 지나간 흔적이 남아 있어 경치가 좋고, 소성 당시의 생생한 분위기를 느낄 수 있습니다
소성 과정에서 가마 내에서 다른 기물과 싸워 이긴 흔적이 남아 있습니다
