Confirmed by the 'Czecho-Slovakia' backstamp and logo, these plates date back approximately 100 years to the early period of the Czechoslovak Republic, shortly after the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Made from high-quality kaolin clay, known as the 'white gold' of ceramics, sourced from Carlsbad, Czechoslovakia, the base remains brilliantly white and durable even after a century.

Featuring the ornate and elegant butterfly and floral motifs characteristic of the Art Deco style that flourished in Europe during the 1920s, these plates exude a sophisticated classicism when viewed in person.
