This is a 19th-century Qing Dynasty oil lamp. It bears a strong resemblance to Joseon Dynasty white porcelain oil lamps. However, it differs in its eastward-facing handle and the design of the oil reservoir. Unlike Joseon lamps, the upper small bowl for oil has a hole, and the entire cylindrical eastern part is conceived as the oil storage area (refer to photos 7/8).

The peony and scrollwork motifs were applied with the wish for lasting prosperity and glory. The lamp measures approximately 15 cm in height, with a base diameter of 10.1 cm. It is in complete condition, with only minor hairline cracks on the interior (refer to photos 6/8).

동부에 손잡이가 붙어 있고
맨 윗부분 기름을 담는 종지 부분에 구멍이 뚫려 있어
원통형의 동부 전체를 기름 저장부로 고안한 것이
조선백자 등잔과 다른 점이라 하겠습니다.(사진 7/8 참조)

크기는 높이 약 15, 받침지름 10.1cm이고
상태는 안쪽으로만 난 미세 유 외에 완전합니다.(사진 6/8 참조)
