[BUNJANG] Antique Korean Traditional Solid Wood Hamjipbak (3-Piece Set) /

## Antique Korean Traditional Solid Wood Hamjipbak (3-Piece Set)

**Estimated Period:** Late Joseon Dynasty to Modern Era (Estimated to be at least 80-100 years old, an original antique).

This is a rare, traditional folk art piece, handcrafted by carving directly from a single solid log, unlike modern composite board products.

This is an original solid wood Hamjipbak set from the late Joseon Dynasty to the Modern Era. It exhibits a deep patina accumulated from long-term use and the touch of a craftsman. The interior appears to have been meticulously carved by hand using traditional Joseon woodworking techniques.

The base and sides reveal natural grain patterns finished by hand, not by machine. The way the three containers nest together without strict standardization is also characteristic of antique folk crafts that were hand-fitted by rural artisans of the past.

Most importantly, this is a valuable 3-piece set where the large, medium, and small sizes nest perfectly within each other, significantly increasing its collector's value.

As an antique folk item with a sense of age, it would make a wonderful addition to a Hanok-style interior, a tea ceremony space, or as a luxurious decorative piece, bringing an interesting historical narrative to your space.
