This is a 5 Won banknote issued by the Bank of Joseon, a treasured piece of history from 1935, boasting 80 years of age. While its grade (35) is lower than ideal, the note is visually appealing as shown in the photos, with a clean and well-preserved packet.

Professional grading services like PMG for Joseon banknotes incur significant costs (KRW 65,000) and time (over 4 months), with high grades becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. Therefore, acquiring already graded notes presents a strategic advantage for collectors.

The price reflects the rarity, condition, and grade of this banknote.

I have listed various banknotes and coins at reasonable prices, so please take a look if you are interested.
