This is the very same tool used for retouching photo negative films and slides before the era of Photoshop! It's a professional "heavy-duty" model capable of holding negative films up to 8x10 inches. No power is required; the adjustable mirror provides all the backlight necessary for retouching.

The easel is in remarkably good condition for its age. There are minor surface scratches on the wood finish, but the stand and mirror are exceptionally clean and free of blemishes. The adjustable rails, designed to accommodate various sizes of negative films and slides, are securely fixed.
