**A Monumental Fusion of Free Jazz and Canterbury Sound**

This rare 1971 masterpiece represents a unique and extreme fusion of Free Jazz and the Canterbury Sound, standing as an iconic release from the 1970s British Underground music scene.

Led by Keith Tippett, with production by Robert Fripp, this project boasts an unprecedented lineup of musicians. Featuring members from legendary bands such as King Crimson, Soft Machine, Nucleus, and Henry Cow, along with over 50 other musicians, this is a truly monumental Free Improvisation project.

Comparable to historical collective improvisation ensembles like Globe Unit Orchestra and Spontaneous Music Ensemble, this album is a landmark recording in the collective improvisation scene.

While its challenging nature may have limited its appeal to the general public, this record is considered a historically and musically significant legacy within the British Underground and especially the Canterbury scene.

This 2013 Klimt reissue, presented on 180g vinyl, is the only vinyl reissue since 2000 and faithfully reproduces the original artwork. This is a limited edition release.
