### Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft Early Mono Masterpiece (1957)

Featuring German cellist Ludwig Hoelscher performing Boccherini and Saint-Saëns Cello Concertos, accompanied by the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Otto Matzerath.

Hoelscher's characteristic deep and solid cello tone, combined with a refined, understated German interpretation, makes this recording particularly captivating. The LP showcases the dense texture and natural string balance typical of early DGG mono pressings.
