This is an un-glazed teapot by artist Kim Dae-woong of Hyun Pottery (formerly Kkol-do-bang).

It is fired at extremely high temperatures without glaze, resulting in a lustrous surface resembling glaze and unique coloring.

This unusual teapot possesses a warmth reminiscent of a mother's touch, a natural feel like river stones, and a captivating aesthetic akin to a living creature, like a snail.

Dimensions: Diameter 14cm, Height 11cm, Capacity approximately 240cc. This is a standard capacity for a 3-person teapot.

Although difficult to acquire, it is being offered as part of a collection reduction.

Teapots by Kim Dae-woong are rarely seen on the market once acquired. This particular teapot is exceptionally peculiar.

Despite a slightly tilted lid, the handle is also angled, making it surprisingly comfortable to use and well-balanced in the hand. The spout is subtly angled to accommodate the pouring angle when held, though this is not immediately apparent. It is a truly beautiful teapot that will offer a special experience to tea enthusiasts.

현담요(현 꼴도방) 김대웅 작가님의 무유다관입니다.
유약 없이 매우 높은 온도로 소성해 유약이 있는 것 같은 표면 광택과 신기한 발색이 특징입니다.
마치 어머니의 손처럼 포근하고 시냇가 돌처럼 자연스러우며 마치 달팽이처럼 살아있는 생물 같은 정취를 가진 희한한 다기입니다.
직경 14cm 높이 11cm, 240cc(+) 정도. 일반적인 3인다기 다관 정도의 용량입니다.
어렵게 소장하게 됐으나 다기를 줄이고자 내놓습니다.
김대웅 작가의 다기는 희한하게 한 번 분양되면 장터에 나오는 법이 거의 없습니다. 이 다관은 그중에서도 특히 기묘한 물건입니다.
뚜껑이 기울어져있지만 손잡이도 삐뚤어져 있어 실제 사용하기에 의외로 편하며 잡아보면 보기와 다르개 밸런스가 아주 좋습니다. 표가 나진 않는데 자세히 보면 출수구도 들었을 때를 상정하여 각도에 맞춰 만들어져 있습니다. 너무 아름다운 다기입니다. 차를 즐기시는 분들께 특별한 경험을 선사할 것입니다.
