### About the Album:

*IMAGE* marks the major debut of the renowned Japanese rock band LUNA SEA and stands as their second original studio album. To commemorate their major label signing, the band undertook a recording process on a scale unprecedented for them.

### Recording Process:

The band members were meticulous, even obsessing over minute sonic details, reportedly focusing on "differences in sound of 1/4000th." This dedication to sonic perfection led to an unusually long production period. Towards the end of the recording sessions, multiple studios were utilized concurrently to accommodate the demanding schedule.

Reflecting on the experience, SUGIZO commented, "Thanks to this recording, I learned that there's no need to be this particular." While all band members contributed to the album title, RYUICHI is credited with the titles for each individual song.

IMAGE 는 일본의 록 밴드 LUNA SEA의 메이저 데뷔 앨범, 통산 두 번째 오리지널 앨범이다. 메이저 데뷔에 즈음해, 지금까지와는 규모가 다른 레코딩을 할 수 있는 것으로, 녹음에 임해서는 "1000분의 4의 소리의 차이"까지 고집했다. 그 때문에 제작에는 이례적인 시간이 걸렸고, 종반에는 시간차원에서 스튜디오를 3군데씩 겹쳐서 레코딩을 했다고 한다. SUGIZO는 "이 레코딩을 한 덕분에 이렇게까지 구애받을 필요는 없다는 것을 알게 되었다"고 말했다. 앨범명은 멤버 전원이 생각했지만, 각 곡의 제목은 RYUICHI가 생각했다
