This is a 5-person celadon tea set featuring inlaid cranes and clouds, crafted by Master Kim Se-yong (Designation No. 349, Korea Master Craftsman).

This tea set was originally exported to Japan in the 1980s-1990s and has since been re-imported.

The glaze displays beautiful celadon 'bi-saek' (kingfisher green) with fine crackles ('bingryeol'). The inlaid cranes and clouds are elegantly rendered using a black and white inlay technique.

While I have collected many celadon pieces from Japan, it is rare to find such a well-crafted tea set. The set includes a teapot, a cooling pitcher ('sukwoo'), and five cups. The unique, slightly crushed aesthetic of the celadon cooling pitcher is truly artistic and fits comfortably in the hand.

The original box, bearing Master Kim Se-yong's seal, is included.

Master Kim Se-yong, born in 1946, was designated Korea Master Craftsman No. 349 in 2002 and is a representative celadon artist of Korea. After beginning his pottery career in 1966, he established the Sechang Pottery Research Institute in 1978 and has dedicated over 50 years exclusively to Goryeo celadon.

The condition of all pieces is excellent.

제349호 대한민국 명장 세창 김세용 선생의 청자 상감 운학문 다기 5인 세트입니다.
일본으로 80~90년대 수출했던 다기로
역수입해 들여왔습니다.
전체적으로 비색의 빙렬이 아름다우며
흑백상감 기법으로 운학문을 세련되게 표현하였습니다.
개인적으로 청자류를 일본에서 많이 수집했지만 이렇게 잘만들어진 차도구는 보기 힘들었습니다.
다관과 숙우 잔 5점으로 구성되어있는데
청자숙우의 찌그러진 멋은 거의 예술입니다.
손에 착 감기는 느낌입니다.
그리고 세창 김수용선생의 인장이 보이는 제박스 포함입니다.
1946년생인 세창 김세용선생은 2002년 대한민국 명장 제349호로 선정된 한국의 대표적인 청자 도예가입니다.
1966년 도예에 입문한 뒤 1978년 세창도예연구소를 설립하시고 50년 이상 고려청자 외길을 걸어오셨습니다.
