[BUNJANG] Neolithic Red Pottery Cup with Three Handles / 신석기 붉은토기잔

This artifact is from the Gansu Yangshao Culture, with the Magayao (馬家窯) site in Linzao County, Gansu Province (modern-day Northwestern China) serving as the type locality.

Estimated to date between 3300 BCE and 2000 BCE, this pottery cup with three handles was used by people during China's Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age.

Its design features a flared rim, a constricted waist, and a rounded body, complemented by a large, wide handle connecting the rim to the base. This form is both original and balanced, offering a harmonious and beautiful aesthetic that resonates with a modern perspective. It seems to convey a message of communal identity.

표준유적으로 삼는 감숙앙소문화의 유물로,
시기는 대략 기원전 3300년~2000년으로 알려져 있습니다.
