## About the Film "Our Kings"

* **On the film's success:** "I didn't expect such great love for the film. When choosing a project, I tend to think more about what emotions it can convey to the audience and what lingering feelings it can leave, rather than just its box office potential. "Our Kings" was special because I cried a lot during filming and poured all my energy into it. It was also a meaningful project to be a part of. So, I am very grateful for all the love it has received. However, I try to stay grounded and not get too carried away by the great love."
* **On his acting:** "I'm always thankful to my parents. Haha. Honestly, I used to lack confidence in my acting. I worried a lot about whether I was giving enough energy to my co-stars. Working with seniors on this project made me think a lot, and they told me, 'I like that you don't try to force expressions' and 'It's impressive that you maintain your own color.' Hearing that made me realize, 'I have my own energy' and 'I am becoming an actor who can influence those around me.' So, lately, I've started to believe in my acting."

## Park Ji-hoon's Career:

Park Ji-hoon's acting in "Weak Hero" was also excellent. His chemistry with Yoo Hae-jin in "Our Kings" was unexpectedly great. He was a standout idol known for his visuals since his Wanna One days. While his appearance is like a modern-day webtoon character, his eyes hold a certain melancholy that made him perfectly suited for historical dramas. 인터뷰어 : 바로 오늘 <왕과 사는남자>가 역대 한국 영화 흥행 순위 2위 기록을 경신했어요.

박지훈 : 이렇게까지 큰 사랑을 받을 줄은 몰랐어요. 작품을 선택할 때 흥행보다는 이 작품이 관객분들께 어떤 감정을 전할 수 있을지, 어떤 여운을 남길 수 있을지를 더 많이 생각하는 편이거든요. <왕과 사는 남자>는 촬영 때 많이 울기도 했고, 에너지도 아낌없이 쏟은 영화라 특별했어요. 또 함께할 수 있어 뜻깊었던 작품이기도 하고요. 그래서 많은 사랑을 받게 돼서 감사한 마음이 커요. 그렇지만 큰 사랑을 받았다고 들뜨지 않고 평소처럼 지내려고 하고 있어요.

인터뷰어 : 특히 박지훈 배우의 눈빛 연기에 호평이 많았죠.
박지훈 : 부모님께 감사할따름입니다. 하하. 사실 그동안 제 연기에 확신이 부족했었어요. ‘내가 상대 배우에게 충분한 에너지를 주고 있을까?’라는 고민도 정말 많이 했고요. 이번 작품은 특히 선배님들과 함께 작업을 해서 촬영 중간중간 생각이 많아졌는데, 촬영장에서 선배님들께서 “억지로 뭔가를 표현하려 하지 않는 점이 좋다” “자기 색을 지키는 게 인상적이다”라고 말씀해주시더라고요. 선배님들께 그런 이야기를 들으니까 ‘나에게도 나만의 에너지가 있구나’ ‘함께하는 분들께도 영향을 줄 수 있는 배우가 돼가고 있구나’라는 생각이 들었어요. 그래서 요즘은 제 연기에 대한 믿음이 생기기 시작했어요.
