## Historical Context
The Kashgar mint was established in 1855 during the Xianfeng Emperor's reign to mint high-denomination currency. However, due to a severe shortage of copper, which was not locally produced, minting was unsustainable and ceased in 1859.

## Collector's Value
While the obverse reads 'Qianlong Tongbao,' this coin was actually a hastily produced Xinjiang Hongzheng from the Xianfeng era, not the Qianlong period. The reverse features the character '喀' (Kashgar) and '十' (ten), signifying high denomination. Its rarity is attributed to its short production period caused by extreme material shortages and the historical practice of borrowing a previous emperor's reign title.

​앞면의 명문은 '건륭통보'로 표기되어 있지만, 실제로는 건륭제 시기가 아닌 함풍제 시기에 급조되어 발행된 신강홍전입니다. 뒷면에 카슈가르를 뜻하는 '객(喀)' 자와 고액권을 뜻하는 '십(十)' 자가 새겨져 있습니다. 극심한 원료 부족으로 인한 단기간 생산 이력 및 이전 황제의 연호를 빌려 쓴 역사성을 지닌 희소성 있는 수집품입니다.
