Notably, a red seal, presumed to be by the translator Hwang Gyu-man, is imprinted on the copyright page. However, it cannot be definitively stated whether Hwang Gyu-man himself applied the seal or owned the book, as there is no separate proof.
The book includes numerous tactical diagrams and maps alongside accounts of actual combat. The original publication style, featuring a mix of Korean and Hanja characters, is preserved.
