Two people are very close, yet they are looking at different things. The vortex drawn around the eyes of the person on the left signifies complex thoughts and emotions. In contrast, the person on the right gazes at the other with a simple and clear vision.
Every person has their own world. Even with the closest person, one cannot fully understand the other's thoughts. Lips can get as close as touching, but there is still an invisible distance between hearts.
The falling water droplets represent the loneliness emanating from that distance, and simultaneously, the traces of the effort to understand each other.
이 작품은 사랑에 관한 그림이 아니라 '이해'에 관한 그림이다.
두 사람은 매우 가까운 거리에 있지만, 서로 다른 것을 바라보고 있다. 왼쪽 인물의 눈 주변에 그려진 소용돌이는 복잡한 생각과 감정을 의미한다. 반면 오른쪽 인물은 단순하고 선명한 시선으로 상대를 응시한다.
